The courts are closed to the public until June 1, 2020, however, they are still conducting business including accepting and docketing new cases, scheduling telephonic hearings, administratively approving certain types of agreements and hearing emergency cases.
The courts are currently scheduling matters several months out. In order to have your matter addressed as soon as possible, hearings and conferences should be scheduled now, before the courts reopen to the public. Courts are in the process of determining which cases can be addressed virtually during this time; however, how cases are being processed during this crisis varies from county to county.
If you have a question as to what is happening with a case you have filed or how you can file a new matter with the Court, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
